Wall Brown Lasiommata megera (Linn.)

Widespread but localised in England and Wales. Mainly coastal, especially in S. Scotland and Ireland.

Short, open grassland with rocks or bare patches of earth.

Various grasses.

Usually from early May to late June and late July to mid-September.
