Regular immigrant, though scarce some years; very localized resident in S England.
Grasslands, often on cliff-tops. On migration could be seen anywhere.
Mainly Clover and Lucerne.
Could be seen any time between May and October.
Not reported systematically after the end of June in years of abundance
